Brooks Bear Ministry

For more than 20 years, members of Brooks Avenue have been making small teddy bears (100 a month) for donation to local pediatric hospitals, women’s shelters, and other organizations. Brooks Avenue-made bears bring comfort and cheer to kids and their families and they are cherished companions post-discharge. Some bears ride in backpacks given to children in AGAPE foster care programs, while others have been snuggled by kids staying at a local rescue mission. Always ready for a hug and an adventure, Brooks bears have been spotted on Duke Life Flight emergency helicopters.

 We invite the community to join us for:
